St James' Park is fully accessible by bicycle.  Tyne & Wear has an extensive and growing cycle network, focusing on quiet streets and traffic-free paths. That's why more and more people are giving it a go, so why don’t you get on your bike? Gosforth, Fenham, Benwell, Bensham, Felling, Walker, Heaton are all within 3 miles of Newcastle City Centre.

Three miles is an easy cycle ride which will take most people around 20 minutes. Even cycling 4 or 5 miles should take no more than 30-40 minutes at a pretty modest speed, so don’t be put off if you live a bit further from the stadium

Once you arrive at St James' Park, there is a range of cycle parking available around the stadium; we have recently installed 35 Sheffield stands around the stadium.

There is also secure cycle parking at Eldon Garden Car Park and Eldon Square Car Park.
